In this class we will study the spectrum of painting processes. We will cover indirect painting, learning how to make an underpainting and apply glazes like the old masters, building a painting in many layers. We will also learn direct painting, with bold color and mark-making, like the impressionists. To conclude the class we will learn how to combine these processes and apply glazes to a direct painting.
