Creative Surface Decoration (7 sessions)

This class will explore surface decoration on pottery of all kinds including sgraffito, mishima, silkscreen, and image/underglaze transfer. Both wheel thrown and hand built techniques are welcome. Bring project ideas both functional or decorative and we will learn how to turn them into fabulous works of art! The focus of this class is decoration, not learning building techniques, therefore it is recommended to have taken a ceramic class previously. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee. Please note Saturday open studio hours will be included this term.
