Ceramics: Experiments with Glazing (7 sessions)

We will experiment with different glazing techniques, glazes, and glaze combination, such as watercolor glazing, bubble glazing, glaze chips, and splatter. Come with any videos of techniques that you have always wanted to try to but never got around to doing. We will make test tiles and other simple shapes (including slip-casting bowls and cups) to support our glaze experiments. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee.
