Ceramics: Deep Dive into Decoration (6 sessions)

In this ceramic handbuilding class, we will experiment with decoration techniques that you may not have used before. We will make our own pattern rollers, play with slip bottles for fine line decoration, and work with underglaze transfers. Students will make objects in class to use for decoration. We will have use of tray molds, plaster hump molds, and slip-casting for your own molds or molds we share. No experience necessary. Your first bag of clay, studio glazes, tools, and 20 hours of studio time outside of class are included in the class fee. Please note Saturday open studio hours will be included this term.
