Antonio “ANTONIOxEREZ” Gonzalez is a professional visual artist whose work centers on community development. For more than 15 years, he has taught watercolor and drawing in Spain, France, and Ohio. In his classes, he encourages peer learning, so students grow into a small, close-knit community.
He holds a Master of Fine Arts and a minor in Cultural Anthropology from the École Supérieure d’art d’Avignon in France, and is a research collaborator at the University of Seville’s College of Fine Arts in Spain. He is represented by Sharon Weiss Gallery in the Midwest and by Burkholder Agency in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
Beyond his work as an artist, Antonio leads GG Cultural Projects, a nonprofit focused on art access and international cultural collaboration. It’s program CASP! (Community Arts Social Program), formerly known as ECO&CO, is a recipient of the 2026 Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Dale E. Heydlauff Community Arts Innovation Award.
