Sarah Vaughan - The Divine One is a special homage to one of the greatest voices of American Music. This show features some of the most loved songs from her long career including "Nice Work if you can get it," "Polkadots and Moonbeams," "Doodlin'," "Shulie A Bop," "East of the Sun," and more.

Comprised of some of Columbus’ top jazz musicians-- Bradley Mellen (bass), Tony Bonardi (piano), Jake Reed (drums), and Laura Camara (vocals), Laura Camara and the Jake Reed Trio have been lighting up stages since 2018. The group's unique musical interpretations, extraordinary improvisational skills, and incredible synergy electrify the music and transport the listener to the most unexpected places. The Jake Reed Trio has been performing at popular music venues for over 20 years. In 2018 they teamed up with award-winning jazz vocalist Laura Camara. Since then they have developed and performed a series of themed shows such as “Shades of Ellington,” “The Music of Laurel Canyon,” and “Sarah Vaughan, The Divine One” all featuring the band's arrangements. The group has performed at The Bop Stop (Cleveland), Blu Jazz (Akron), Ginger Rabbit Jazz Club (Columbus), The Taft Museum (Cincinnati), The Avalon Theatre (Marysville), The McConnell Arts Center (Worthington), The Refectory Restaurant (Columbus), and The Columbus Museum of Art (Columbus) among other venues. Their most notable show, “Shades of Ellington,” was released as an album in 2024, and has gained popularity all over the state of Ohio and beyond.
