As soon as Erin was able to hold a pencil at 2 years old, she started drawing. A creative career was the obvious choice for her. She earned a BA in graphic design from Marietta College in 2003. After 16 years working as a graphic designer, Erin decided to pivot and pursue a career in fine arts. She purchased Purple Dog Art Studio and spent 6 years teaching art to children and adults. She then decided to pivot again and started Living by the Brush, a business which combines her passion for mindfulness meditation with art. Erin loves to work in pastels and acrylics. She enjoys painting landscapes, animals, portraits and abstracts. Her work has been exhibited at 400 W. Rich St. and the Ohio State Fair. She is a member of the Ohio Art League and Ohio Pastel Artists League.
