David Rickert has been drawing practically since was first able to hold a pencil. He has been a high school teacher for 29 years in Hilliard. His two graphic novels, "Pizza, Pickles, and Apple Pie" and "Checkups, Shots, and Robots" have been loved by kids and parents alike. He loves to cook and try new recipes. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with his family and his dogs. What he isn’t creating comics, he loves to read (of course!) and play guitar.
